Purchase of Easy School Resources applications or Sentral Web Servers and/or of any its separate modules signifies agreement to the following terms and conditions.
Terms of Agreement
Hughes Trading Solutions Pty Ltd (Easy School Resources) has taken all reasonable steps to ensure the protection of your school's personal information, including OASIS, ESR Reports, ESR Welfare, Intranet and Curriculum data, from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure by designing secure, customised software with a login and password hierarchy, allocated individually to each school.
To maintain the security of your information, please ensure that you exercise extra care by:
- Allocating users to the appropriate levels
- Provide your staff with secure passwords that are not accessible by students
- Ensure that school staff never leave a workstation logged in to Oasis Admin, ESR Reports, ESR welfare module, if not using it at the time
- Change your passwords on a regular basis (minimum monthly)
- Use minimum 8 digit alphanumeric passwords
- Upon initial setup, immediately change default passwords for Gproxy, ESR Reports, Reverse Proxy, ESR welfare, Webcal and Intranet
To maintain the security of your BACKUP information, please ensure that you exercise extra care by:
- Mandatory notification of all backup data requests and changes via fax/email using the GProtect data form
- Allocating a specific backup user for your curriculum servers that is not used for normal network access
- Limit access to backup/restore features for specific staff
Hughes Trading solutions Pty Ltd (Easy School Resources) accepts no responsibility for:
Data that isn't backed up due to incorrect file permissions, files being left open, internal network issues, use of simplistic passwords, staff/students sharing passwords, servers being offline or loss of authentication due to schools changing access passwords, hardware failure or non-notification of changes to backup requests.
Hughes Trading Solutions Pty Ltd (Easy School Resources) has no direct access to staff and student data, ESR Reports, ESR Welfare or OASIS and as such our company and personnel accept no responsibility whatsoever for inappropriate access, misuse, loss or resultant issues of school data obtained or archived through this program.
